The best treatment for a woman suffering from PTSD and MST comes from a sister who has been wounded and healed.
The Minerva Center is launching a pilot program to train women veterans in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). The format will be the Basic Recipe developed by EFT founder Gary Craig. It has been streamlined into a format similar to that used by CPR providers. The WWH procedure is simple, rapid, and powerful. It requires no formal certification and can be learned easily by anyone, even a child. With practice, a student can apply it confidently to any kind of mental or physical pain.
Minerva EFT training is limited to 15 participants and is offered free of charge to women veterans. It consists of six three-hour sessions conducted on consecutive Saturday afternoons at The Minerva Center in Pasadena, Maryland. Each session includes viewing original Gary Craig training videos, followed by discussion and demonstrations by the trainer and participants. The weekly sessions are supplemented by homework practice on women veteran volunteers, study of the Gary Craig manual and study guides, and personal coaching by Linda Grant DePauw, Ph.D.
Those completing the pilot WWV training in Pasadena, Maryland and those completing all subsequent trainings live or by Skype hookup in groups limited to 12-15 will receive certificates of completion (NOT a certification) bearing The Minerva Center seal. By accepting this certificate, students agree to pass on the same teaching and WWH healing form free of charge to women veterans. This certificate may be added to other tools a woman veteran who practices as a coach or therapist may be using to treat women veterans. Coach therapists who are not both women and veterans may take WWH training in return for a $100/session donation to The Minerva Center.
